Lyndsay Hudson is a public service professional with extensive experience in neighborhood revitalization, property management, and operational support. She currently works with South Central Planning and Development where she contributes to the ongoing efforts of the Neighborhood Revitalization Division by supporting programs, processes, and initiatives focused on community improvement and compliance.Since joining South Central Planning and Development in December 2022, Lyndsay has played a meaningful role in the development and execution of procedures aligned with the City of Baton Rouge’s Blight Code of Ordinance. Her work centers on strengthening internal operations while ensuring transparency, accountability, and consistency in how revitalization efforts are carried out across the city. She supports a wide range of administrative and operational functions, including blight court coordination, court order filings, liens management, contractor oversight, and the preparation of work orders that help move neighborhood improvement projects forward.With a background in property management and corporate training, Lyndsay brings a practical, systems focused approach to her work. She has developed onboarding and training materials for outreach workers and administrative staff, helped implement workflow management software, and utilized productivity tools to improve reporting, tracking, and overall efficiency. Her experience with grant compliance, budget reconciliation, and vendor coordination supports responsible use of public resources and effective program execution.Community engagement remains central to Lyndsay’s work. She actively supports clear communication between residents, contractors, and city departments, helping to foster trust among the public, council members, and district representatives. By encouraging the use of tools such as 311 and promoting clarity in enforcement processes, she helps support more effective issue resolution and informed community participation.Lyndsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Southern University and A&M College and brings over a decade of experience across property management, operations, training, and administrative leadership.
